Stan Fehlhafer

Director of Senior Ministries

Born and raised in Seward and York counties Nebraska, I spent my entire ministry in Nebraska, starting in 1966 at a three-room school, Zion Lutheran School in St. Libory, otherwise known as Worms, where I served as teacher, principal, choir director, and youth director.

In 1985 God called me to Lincoln, to serve as principal and teacher at Calvary Lutheran School, later to be named Messiah. I retired from my role as teacher/principal in the summer of 2006.  For seven years after retirement, I taught weekly Bible classes to senior residents at seven different retirement and assisted living centers.

I received both my bachelors and masters degrees at Concordia, Seward.  I love my Savior, my family, teaching, music, mechanics, handiwork, and outdoors activities (in that order).

While serving at Zion Lutheran, my wife, Ginny, and I grew into a family of three daughters— Christine, Rachel, and Sara, and two sons—Steve and Jason.  We have been blessed to have many grandchildren, and we enjoy them all!
